(Continued) New! Covergirl Ink It! Eyeliner

This is an 'After' picture of 12 hrs after I applied it since I forgot to post a 'Before' picture. Overall it didn't smudge too bad and stayed on pretty well. I did take a nap so some came off and faded but even through that it looked somewhat acceptable if I had to leave the house. Thanks for viewing and stay tuned for my upcoming blog posts! Bye! - Karlie

New! Covergirl Ink It! Eyeliner (In Charcoal Ink)

Hello night owls! Welcome back, tonights review is all about the new covergirl Ink It! Eyeliner crayon. As titled above, I purchased this in the color charcoal ink. I meant to buy the black one and accidently bought this one. Since I have blue/grey eyes I decided to keep it and ended up being content with the look of it on my top and bottom lash line. This eyeliner was $6.97 (I think) at walmart. I usually use the Revlon Colorstay Eyeliner in Black Brown, but I just finished it up and decided to try this instead because Casey Holmes on Youtube had a good word on it. The eyeliner itself is from the 'Perfect Points Plus' eyeliner collection and has a self sharpening tip that twists up when needed. I was skeptical when using it because most 'Charcoal' or grey colored eyeliners are quite light and ashy. This one surprised me though as it is very close to black which was what I was going for. It claims to be smudge proof & waterproof, however it is not waterproof as Casey Holmes stated, but is it smudgeproof which is what I have to have because my eyeliner always smudges and creases on my top lid. (Ugh so embarassing & annoying). This eyeliner lasts about 12 hrs which is pretty good considering how hot its been out. (Chicago Area) Overall I would have to rate this to be a 7.5 out of 10 just because Im not quite sure whether it beats my go to eyeliner from Revlon Colorstay. I would still recommend this is you have experienced smudging and creasing from eyeliner as this stays put and lasts a good amount of time. Stay tuned for a long overdue  June Favorites blog post and future 'Products I've Emptied/Used up' Blog Post coming soon. Until then goodnight my beauties! Xoxoxo, Karlie

(Continued) L'Oreal Magic Nude Liquid Powder

Here's a picture of the makeup after application and setting powder. As u can see it does not completely cover my scars and marks but it does give good color payoff.

New! L'Oreal Magic Nude Liquid Powder Review

Welcome back beauties! Today's review is on the brand new L'Oreal Magic Nude Liquid Powder Foundation. I watched DulceCandy87's review of this product on Youtube a couple days before I purchased it. I have never had a liquid powder foundation before and this was quite different so I was interested in trying it. The color I picked was 330 Classic Tan. On the directions it says to shake bottle and appply directly with hands. It also says that it does not work well with brushes and or sponges. The application is very messy and when pouring you have to be very careful to not let it drip on the outside of the bottle or slide of hands as this product is extremely creamy. When applying to my face the color deposit was quite matching to my skin and no bearings of red undertones. (My biggest pet peeve in makeup) After applying to face I let it dry for a few minutes. The finish of this product is somewhat sticky and creamy. I would say it leaves a semi-matte finish or even dewy finish. The coverage of this foundation ranges from light to medium and doesn't cover my acne marks or scars very well. I did set this product with a powder to help control oil. Overall I would have to give this a 6 out of 10 just because the idea of it is nice but is not what is made out to be and I'd much prefer a super mattifying foundation considering my face greases up like a cooking pan. Stay tuned for more posts/reviews! Night lovelies! Xoxoxo, Karlie.

New Maybelline FIT Me Shine Free Foundation Stick

I went to Walmart this morning to get an ice pack for my back and when I'm there I always go to the makeup aisle just to browse. I happen to see this foundation and was curious to try it out so I bought it. The stick claims to be 'Shine-Free' as stated on the packaging. The inner core of the stick is said to be a mattifying powder. The color I picked was a guess to my skin tone and is 310 sun beige. The color has a reddish undertone but is quite ashy and tan colored at the same time. I didn't like that so much but I put it on my face and it covered quite well (average) and left a velvety finish to my skin. Overall  I would only use this product if I needed a quick makeup application for emergencies and what not. But I did conceal it under my eyes and it covered quite well so I think I will use that as a concealer to stash in my makeup bag. Overall I give this product a 5 out of 10.
